Universal rotary joints up to 3500 U/min, up to PN 50

Suitable: Rotary joint for simple supply line or drainage. These rotary joints are suitable for use of non-contaminated water, heat transfer oil and saturated steam (intermittent). Alternatively, the units can be equipped with a special seal for feedthroughs of aggressive, abrasive media and contaminated water.
Advantages: The springs are external to the media flow in order to minimise the loss of pressure and avoid turbulence.
Materials: Housing: Brass, optional: stainless steel, seal: Carbon graphite / Tungsten carbide
Temperature range: Water up to max. +175°C, saturated steam up to max. +140°C, heat-transfer oil up to max. +200°C
Operating pressure: Water: G 1/4" to G 1 1/2" max. 50 bar, G 2" max. 40 bar Saturated steam: max. 3 bar, heat transfer oil: max. 6.5 bar
Optional: Version in stainless steel -ES, seal package for abrasive media or unclean water -AB
Warning: Maximum pressure and speed values may not occur simultaneously. If in doubt, please ask us for confirmation. A fluid pressure of over 8 bar is only permitted when used with cooling water and a maximum temperature of +50°C. For heat transfer oil with temperatures over +175°C, the speed may not exceed 300 rpm. For reverse operation, shafts with flanges are to be used.
Warning: Take note of left and right-handed threads. Left-handed thread for feeding into clockwise rotating drums. Right-handed thread for feeding into counter-clockwise rotating drums.
